Trust Ford reduce their print fleet from over 1,000 devices to 400 Kyocera MFP’s

Background

Trust Ford are the world’s largest dedicated Ford dealership with around 2,500 members of staff and 61 UK wide dealerships including N. Ireland and the Channel Islands.

The Challenge

Following the merger of several smaller dealerships, Trust Ford had over 1,000 print devices from multiple manufacturers and suppliers spread across their dealerships.  This was difficult to manage and support through their IT helpdesk and they had no visibility or control over what was being spent.  They wanted a single managed print provider for all their sites

The Solution

Calvert provided a managed print solution to all 61 sites using Kyocera devices managed by PaperCut.  The number of devices on site was consolidated to fewer than 400 with a standardised interface for copy and scan functionality.  Using PaperCut, print costs are visible and users can securely release jobs at multiple sites using the same print driver.
